Huntington, WV: Merritts Creek Exit Near Barboursville Could Be Shut Down For Hours After Wreck on Monday, July 27th 2015

Dispatchers said a tanker truck accident has closed the Merritts Creek exit ramp of Interstate 64 eastbound near Barboursville.Dispatchers said the accident happened about 3:20 p.m. Monday at the 18-mile marker or the Merritts Creek exit in Barboursville on I-64. Dispatchers said a tanker truck has turned on its side. Dispatchers said there are no injuries, and nothing is spilling from the truck, but the road is expected to be shut down for a while.Drivers can exit at the 29th Street exit or the mall exit. Members of the Barboursville police and fire departments and Huntington Police Department are at the scene.
