An Aurora woman suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 7:45 a.m. Friday on County Road 1210, two miles south of Aurora in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Christina L. Adams, age not available, was taken to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, the state patrol said.
She was driving a northbound vehicle that ran off the road, struck a ditch and overturned, the patrol said.
• A truck driver from California was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 2:46 p.m. Friday on Missouri Highway 43, two miles north of Southwest City in McDonald County, the patrol said.
Kazem Mousavi, 59, of Beverly Hills, California, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin with moderate injuries, the patrol said.
Mousavi was driving a northbound semi-truck that ran off the road, struck a culvert and overturned, the patrol said.
• A Seneca man sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 10:15 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 49, one mile south of Neosho in Newton County, the state patrol said.
Johnathan W. Brodie, 21, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the patrol said.
Brodie was driving a southbound Dodge Stratus that ran off the road and struck a bridge wall while he was text messaging, the patrol said.
• A 60-year-old Joplin man was injured when he was struck by a car at 8:11 a.m. Tuesday at the entrance to the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market on Maiden Lane, according to a Joplin Police Department report.
Stephen W. Griffin was taken to Freeman Hospital West for treatment of injuries, the police report said.
Griffin was walking north on the sidewalk on the west side of Maiden Lane and was struck by a car driven by Edward R. Archuleta, 52, of Neosho, as Archuleta was exiting the store's parking lot and turning right onto Maiden Lane, the report said.
• A 55-year-old Joplin woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision at 3:53 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 15th and Main streets, according to Joplin police.
Nancy L. Cornish was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries, a police report said.
She was a passenger in a southbound car driven by Roger L. Cornish, 59, of Joplin, that collided with an eastbound car driven by Debbie L. Clark, 58, of Webb City, who was attempting a right turn on a red light after stopping, the report said.
