JACKSON, MS : Child hospitalized after hit and run; Police searching for suspect on Saturday, 22nd October 2016

A 5-year-old boy is in the hospital following a hit and run in Jackson.JPD is investigating the hit and run that happened just before 5:15 p.m. on Lake Forest Drive. Authorities are looking for a maroon and purple two toned Chevrolet Trailblazer that fled the scene after the accident.

The child was transported to UMMC and is in stable condition.
