Paulding ,OH : 18- Years old Skyler D. Huth Killed after his truck drifted off U.S. 127 in Paulding County on Tuesday ,June 9th 2015

A Paulding, Ohio, teenager died this morning when his truck drifted off U.S. 127 in Paulding County and struck a power pole and a tree, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

Skyler D. Huth, 18, died at the scene of the 7:39 a.m. crash, south of Ohio 111 near Paulding, the highway patrol in Van Wert said in a statement.

Police said Huth was driving north on the highway when he drifted off the left side of the road. He was not wearing his seat belt at the time, they said.

U.S. 127 was closed for several hours, but has been reopened, police said. The crash remains under investigation.

The highway patrol was assisted at the scene by the county sheriff's department and coroner, Paulding Fire and EMS, American Electric Power and the Ohio Department of Transportation.
