Elk Grove, CA : Two allegedly abandon fatal crash on Sunday, December 4th, 2016

Elk Grove police this morning arrested two suspects who allegedly fled a crash scene and left a deceased person there last night. Authorities said the three individuals were brothers.

Around 6 p.m., a SUV crashed into a fence along Highway 99 near the 9300 block of West Stockton Boulevard. The vehicle rested on the shoulder of southbound Highway 99. Officers reportedly found the deceased victim, identified by county coroners as Juan Pablo Guzman, 21, near the SUV. Police believe that he was ejected from the vehicle after it overturned during the crash.

Investigators later determined that driver, Ernesto Bizran-Guzman (pictured left), 23, and his passenger, Jose Guzman, 19, fled the scene. They arrested them on hit-and-run charges, and booked them into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
