Indianapolis police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with an early-morning crash that killed two people and injured the driver and two others.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department on Saturday charged Luis Amador Aguilar with two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death and one count of the same charge while causing serious bodily injury.
Aguilar is accused of running a stop sign shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday on the city's northeast side and then colliding with a Ford pickup truck.
One of the truck's two passengers was declared dead at the scene. The pickup's driver died later at an area hospital. Police have not yet released their names.
Online court records don't yet list an attorney on Aguilar's behalf.
