Indianapolis, IN : I-69 southbound closed at 314 mile marker due to 5-vehicle crash on Friday, December 2nd, 2016
Interstate 69 southbound at the 314 mile marker is closed because of a five-vehicle crash that occurred shortly after 8 a.m. Friday.
The Indiana State Police is on the scene and are working diligently with rescue crews to reopen the lane.
Police scanner traffic reported backups in the southbound lane past the 316 mile marker, and cars are driving on the berm in an attempt to get around the accident.
Police scanner traffic also reports two injuries at this time, but have not indicated the extent of their injuries.
Motorists should find an alternate route of travel to avoid this accident scene.
