BENTON RIDGE, OH : A two-vehicle crash on Ohio 12 on Saturday, September 30th 2017
A two-vehicle crash on Ohio 12 at Hancock County 84, east of Benton Ridge, left three people injured Saturday, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Corrine Groves, 17, of Findlay, was traveling west on Hancock County 84 at about 12:32 p.m. in a 2006 Nissan Sentra, the sheriff’s office said. She stopped at a stop sign at Ohio 12, the sheriff’s office said, but then pulled into the path of Cuyler McKitrick, 29, of Findlay, who was traveling east on Ohio 12 in a 2002 Chevy Malibu.
McKitrick and a passenger in his car, Hannah McKitrick, 23, of Findlay, were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco EMS, the sheriff’s office said. Groves was taken to Blanchard Valley by a family member.
Groves was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign, the sheriff’s office said.
Assisting at the crash scene were Blanchard Township Volunteer Fire Department, BG Towing and R&A Towing.
