A man suffered serious head injuries Tuesday in a car vs moped crash, Manchester police said.
The 68-year-old victim was in critical condition at Hartford Hospital Wednesday, police spokesman Lt. Ryan Shea said.
The moped operator was headed westbound on Tolland Turnpike near Chapel Road at about 5:25 p.m. when the driver of an eastbound vehicle turned left onto Chapel, Shea said. The driver, a 36-year-old man, was cooperating with the investigation, he said.
