Wilmington,, NC : One person was arrested in a fatal weekend hit-and-run crash on Monday October 13th 2014.

Authorities in Wilmington have made an arrest in a fatal weekend hit-and-run accident. Wilmington police tell area media that 24-year-old Richard Pait of Bladenboro surrendered to police Monday evening. Pait has been charged with felony hit and run, misdemeanor failure to report an accident and misdemeanor failure to render aid. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney. Authorities say that 58-year-old Thomas Kramek of Wilmington was struck and killed Saturday night as he was pushing a shopping cart across a road.
