Two people were injured, one seriously, in a multivehicle crash Thursday night near the intersection of College Avenue and Trilby Road in south Fort Collins.
About 8:38 p.m., Fort Collins Police Services received first received a report of a two-car crash.
A Honda, traveling northbound on College Avenue and turning left onto Trilby Road, was struck by a southbound RV, FCPS spokeswoman Kate Kimble said. The force of the impact caused the Honda to hit two other vehicles in the area.
The drivers of both the Honda and the RV were transported to local hospitals, one with full trauma and serious injuries, said Sgt. Bob Younger.
The intersection was closed for about 90 minutes following the crash.
Poudre Fire Authority assisted in the extrication of the patients from the vehicles.
A citation in the crash is currently pending, Kimble said.
