Yakima, WA : Motorcyclist killed in crash on Interstate 90 in Kittitas County on Saturday, July 30, 2016

A Seattle man was killed Saturday in a motorcycle rollover crash on Interstate 90 about 20 miles east of Ellensburg.

Mark A. Willmes, 55, was driving a 2016 BMW motorcycle westbound at about 5:22 p.m. when he drifted to the left, lost control and rolled, the State Patrol reports. The motorcycle came to a rest against a rock embankment.

Willmes, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Kittatas Valley Healthcare Hospital where he was declared dead, a State Patrol press release stated.

Drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash.
