Austin, MN : Motorist injured in crash with semi on Highway 218 in Mower County on Wednesday morning, November 12, 2014

A 36-year-old man Tennessee man was injured in a crash with a semitrailer Wednesday morning on Minnesota Highway 218 in Mower County. Lana Ykema, of Lobelville, Tenn., was southbound on the highway when the car he was driving collided with the left rear of the semi, driven by Richard Hurt, 69, of Grand Forks, N.D., according to a Minnesota State Patrol report. Ykema was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Austin with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the report. Hurt didn't appear to be injured.
