SEMINOLE COUNTY, FL : Two people in two different cars escaped a fiery crash on Monday, August 14, 2017
Two people in two different cars escaped a fiery crash with just seconds to spare Monday afternoon in Seminole County.
Ivan Olmedo was on his way to see his daughter play soccer in Seminole County when a BMW swerved across Markham Lane, just north of Hearthrow, and smashed head on into his Mercedes.
The woman inside the mangled silver BMW managed to escape safely but Olmedo said he wouldn't have been able to had it not been for a man passing by.
"I got to open the door, but I still couldn't move very well," Olmedo said. "(He) said to me 'we need to get out, the car is on fire,' and he actually pulled me out."
After looking at the crushed cars, Olmedo said he's thankful to head home alive.
