Gary, IN : Man, 19, killed in Porter County crash on Saturday, March 25th 2017

A Westville man was killed in a single-car crash early Saturday morning.

Nathan T. Leger, 19, was driving a two-door Infiniti eastbound on U.S. 6 when it went off the road and struck a utility pole at about 3:55 a.m., Porter County Coroner Chuck Harris said in a news release. The crash location was just west of Westville.

Legler was extricated from the vehicle and pronounced dead from blunt force trauma injuries at the scene, the release said. He was only person in the vehicle, and was driving during a moderate rainstorm, the release said.
