A Miller resident was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 2:45 p.m. Sunday on Route DD, 2 miles east of Miller in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Aaron G. Hobbs, 50, was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.
According to the patrol, the Hobbs vehicle ran off the road, hit an embankment and overturned.
• A Granby woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash about 2:25 p.m. Sunday on Highway 86, about 5 miles south of Granby in Newton County, according to the state patrol.
Brenda M. Lane, 55, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital Joplin.
The patrol reported the eastbound Lane vehicle ran off the road and hit a culvert.
• A Wheaton man was injured in a truck accident at 1:40 p.m. Sunday on Route W, 2 miles east of Wheaton in Barry County, according to the state patrol.
Leslie A England, 68, was taken to Mercy Hospital Springfield with minor injuries.
The patrol reported that England's westbound truck ran off the road and hit a culvert.
• A Mount Vernon resident was injured in a single-vehicle wreck at 12:35 a.m. Sunday on Route CC, 10 miles north of Springfield, according to the state patrol.
Kaylynn M. Black, 18, was taken to Mercy Hospital Springfield with moderate injuries.
The westbound vehicle, the patrol reported, ran off the road and overturned.
