Henderson, KY : Victim of Kentucky 136-W wreck in Henderson Co. identified on Wednesday, 24th August, 2016

The Henderson County Coroner's Office has identified the person killed in a vehicle crash Wednesday.

Authorities said Jeanne D. Riley, 84, of Henderson, was found dead at the scene of the crash on Kentucky 136-West near Riverport Road Wednesday afternoon.

Officials with the coroner's office said the cause of death has not been determined, and Riley's remains have been sent to the medical examiner's office in Louisville for an autopsy.

The Henderson County Sheriff's Office said the wreck occurred around 1:30 p.m. when Riley, driving a red Buick LeSabre, was westbound. The vehicle traveled off the road and down a 20-foot ditch, authorities said.

Riley was pronounced dead at the scene.
