Newnan ,GA : Newnan woman killed in two-car accident on may, wednesday 10th 2017

A Newnan woman died after being struck by a truck on Roscoe Road Wednesday morning.
Christine Teresa Mulheran, 86, was killed after she pulled out of the St. George Catholic Church parking lot and was struck in her driver’s side door by a pickup truck traveling northbound, according to Trooper Steven Welborn with the Georgia State Patrol.
The accident occurred just after 10 a.m. and the road remained closed for almost two hours while authorities investigated the scene. Drugs or alcohol do not appear to have played a role in the wreck, according to Welborn.
