Sanford, FL : One dead in wrong-way crash on S.R. 46 near Sanford on Wednesday night, December 17, 2014

One person died in a head-on crash on State Road 46 in Sanford on Wednesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash happened around 7 p.m. in near Ross Lake Lane on S.R. 46 in Seminole County. Troopers said three victims were taken to nearby hospitals following the crash. One person died; and the other victims' conditions are unknown. Investigators said the person who died was a 69-year-old man from Sanford. Troopers did not release his name.
