LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL : 39-year-old Florence man killed in single-vehicle wreck on Friday, 10th May 2024

A single-vehicle wreck that happened early Friday morning in Lauderdale County has claimed the life of a Florence man.

Officials say 39-year-old Jared Box was fatally injured when the 202 GMC Yukon he was driving left the roadway and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The wreck happened on AL 133 near Lewis Bruce Lane at 7 a.m.

ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is continuing to investigate.
