MEMPHIS, TN : Driver critically injured after interstate crash turned into fire on Sunday, 11th August 2024

A car crashed and burned on I-55 early Sunday morning leaving the driver in critical condition, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).

Officers responded to the area of I-55 and South Third Street regarding a car crash just before 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 11, says MPD.

After arriving at the scene, police found the victim who was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
