Columbus woman dead after head-on collision in Florence Mississippi

A Columbus woman has died after her vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle Saturday night, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.Trooper Criss Turnipseed said Florence Little, 53, was driving southbound on Highway 45 north of Highway 373 when her vehicle collided with another car, driven by Michael McManus, 25, of Columbus.It happened at approximately 10:20 p.m.Turnipseed said Little was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle where she was pronounced dead.McManus was also transported to BMH and treated for serious injuries.The accident remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
