Syracuse, UT : 16-year-old high school junior struck, killed by vehicle in Utah on Thursday, December 10, 2015
Authorities have identified a 16-year-old who died after being struck by a car while crossing a street in Syracuse.
Davis School District officials tell the Standard-Examiner that Alan La Rosa was a junior at Syracuse High School.
Police say La Rosa was wearing dark clothing and wasn't in a crosswalk when he was struck about 6:45 p.m. Thursday on Antelope Drive by a Dodge Neon driven by a 42-year-old woman from Clearfield.
Police say the woman had minor cuts on her face, and there was no indication she was impaired while driving. She was cooperating with the investigation.
