Lake Villa, IL : 2 killed in 3-car crash on Route 59 near Lake Villa on Thursday, 19th December, 2019

Two people were killed, one was taken by Flight For Life to a hospital and two others were injured in a three-car crash on Route 59 and Beach Avenue near Lake Villa Thursday night.
Route 59 has been closed since the crash, Sgt. Christopher Covelli of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said around 8 p.m. Thursday night.He said the person with the most serious injuries was taken by Flight For Life to Advocate Lutheran General in Park Ridge for treatment. A condition was not available. Two other victims were taken by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
