Salt Lake City, UT : Man dies in I-80 crash in Tooele County on Monday, 3rd October 2016

A man is dead after a single-vehicle rollover in Tooele County on Monday night.

The man was traveling east on Interstate 80 near mile marker 82 (between Grantsville and Tooele) about 6:50 p.m., said Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Sgt. Todd Royce. The man's car rolled, Royce said, but police don't know why.

The man's age was not immediately known.

Police closed I-80 in both directions; it likely will be reopened to limited traffic by 9 p.m.
