Greeley, CO : A motorcycle crash has been identified as Charles Rooney on Saturday, June 24, 2017

The Centennial man who died Saturday after a motorcycle crash has been identified as Charles Rooney, according to the Weld County coroner.

Rooney, 72, was reportedly tangled up in a three-motorcycle crash near Colo. 60 and Weld County Road 46, southeast of Milliken, shortly after noon Saturday.

Two other riders were injured, but Colorado State Patrol did not have more information on the crash Sunday.

Rooney is one of three people to die on Weld County roads this weekend. He is the 21st person to die so far this year on Weld County roads. Through this date last year 22 people had died.
