Enid, OK : 4 injured in 2-vehicle crash South U.S. 81 and Southgate on Friday, October 21, 2016

Four people were transported to local hospitals following a two-vehicle accident Friday.

According to an Enid Police Department report, the accident occurred at 2:13 p.m. Friday in the 3200 block of South U.S. 81 and Southgate.

Marathon Ninness, 85, of Enid, was driving a 2013 Dodge Caravan northbound on U.S. 81 when he entered a left turn lane to turn onto Southgate, according to the report. He stated he had a green light, not a green arrow, when he turned left and struck a southbound 2005 Chevy pickup driven by Kristin Cantrell, 27, of Enid.

Cantrell was transported by Life EMS to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center with non-incapacitating injuries to her head, arms and legs.

A passenger in Cantrell’s vehicle, Teri Cantrell, 46, was transported by Life EMS to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center with incapacitating injuries to her trunk-external, trunk-internal, head and legs.

Ninness was transported via private vehicle to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries to his head, trunk-internal, legs and arms.

A passenger in the vehicle driven by Ninness, Mary Ninness, 83, was also transported via private vehicle to St. Mary’s with non-incapacitating injuries to her trunk-internal, head, arms and legs.
