Moorpark, CA : 80-year-old man killed in Moorpark crash on Tuesday October 20 2015

An 80-year-old man was killed in a crash in rural Moorpark Tuesday, officials said.
The crash occurred about 11:15 a.m. at Grimes Canyon and Broadway roads when a truck-tractor and the small pickup collided, according to the Ventura County Department.A preliminary investigation indicated that a 61-year-old driver of a pickup heading west on Broadway attempted to turn left into a private driveway directly in front of a truck-tractor heading in the opposite direction.
The vehicles collided and then crashed into a power pole in the area, sheering off the pole, said California Highway Patrol Officer Miguel Duarte.
