SEDGWICK COUNTY, KS : 1 killed in Sedgwick County industrial accident on Wednesday, 31st July 2019

One person is dead following an industrial accident at a manufacturing business in western Sedgwick County.Firefighters from Clearwater and the Sedgwick County Fire Department responded to the call of a person trapped shortly before 3 p.m. near Viola.

Crews say they arrived at Younger & Sons Manufacturing, 19223 K # 42 Hwy, Wednesday afternoon where a worker was stuck in a machine.

Investigators say other employees were able to reverse the device and free the man, but he died on the scene.
