Officials have identified the driver who was killed in a collision with a semi Wednesday morning as 56-year-old Clifford Jackson.
According to police Jackson was driving a moped traveling north on Jedburg Road when he hit a truck coming off I-26 off ramp making a left turn and ended underneath a semi.
Jackson was not wearing a helmet and sustained fatal injuries from the crash.
The coroner determined Jackson's death to be accidental and caused due to head trauma.
