Joplin, MO : One Joplin resident injured after one-car accident on Sunday, 25th September 2016

A Joplin resident is suffering from minor injuries after a one-car accident at 2:50 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 49 at Goodman in McDonald County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Carissa M. Briscoe, 27, was traveling south when her vehicle ran off the right side of the road and struck a boulder, the patrol said.

Briscoe was transported to Freeman Hospital West by ambulance, according to the report.
