Billings, MT : 45-year-old Joliet woman died and 14-year-old passenger injured in a rollover crash near Cooney Reservoir on Sunday, Sep 6, 2015

A 45-year-old Joliet woman died and her 14-year-old passenger was injured in a rollover crash near Cooney Reservoir, north of Roberts.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the woman lost control of her Volkswagen Beetle on a left turn and swerved off the road at about 7 p.m. Sunday. The car rolled several times, ejecting the driver.

The Billings Gazette reports the passenger was taken to a Billings hospital for treatment.

The victim’s name was not immediately released.
