Las Vegas, NV : One killed, one seriously injured in rollover crash on I-15, north of Las Vegas on Saturday, November 22, 2014

A man is dead and a woman is in serious condition Saturday after their vehicle overturned on Interstate 15. The accident happened at 11:56 a.m. on the freeway about eight miles north of Las Vegas Motor Speedway, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. The man was driving the Isuzu Rodeo northbound when he lost control and the vehicle overturned and went into the southbound lanes, Trooper Loy Hixson said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was airlifted to University Medical Center with serious injuries, he said. The freeway has been limited to one lane in either direction, Hixson said.
