The man killed in a single-vehicle crash discovered Monday morning along U.S. Highway 2 near Kellys Slough, west of Grand Forks, was driving the wrong way at the time of the wreck, authorities say.
A 35-year-old Fordville, N.D., man was killed in the accident, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. His name has yet to be released.
Investigators believe the 2009 Ford Crown Victoria was traveling east in the the westbound lane when it struck a bridge and came to rest in a creek.
