An Athens woman was injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Wood Street on Saturday.

Athens Police Department reports said Rosa Morales, 52, was transported to East Texas Medical Center following the collision. She was later released from the hospital.

According to APD, at about 5 p.m., a 2012 Ford pickup, driven by 32-year-old Ryan Perkins of Kemp, was exiting from a private drive in the 500 block of Wood Street, while Morales was northbound on the street in a 2002 Ford van.
