Blair, NE : Two injured in 1-car crash on Wednesday, March 22nd 2017

Two people were transported to Fremont Health Medical Center on Tuesday following a single-vehicle accident along U.S. Highway 30 just west of Kennard.

Washington County sheriff's deputies, Arlington Rescue and Kennard Rescue responded to the crash 15800 U.S. Highway 30 at about 11:30 p.m.

Sgt. Don Morgan said a medical condition possibly contributed to the crash.

A white Chevrolet Cavalier was westbound on U.S. 30 when it crossed the center line entered the ditch and appeared to have gone up the embankment quite a distance before landing nose first in the ditch.

Morgan said deputies had contact with the two people in the vehicle during a welfare check earlier in the night at the Lakeland subdivision south of Blair.
