Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office identifies the teen killed in a crash near 55th and Hoover.

Remone Fareed Halabi, a 16-year-old boy, was driving a black 2003 Suzuki motorcycle when he struck a red 2013 Nissan 370z driven by a 26-year-old male, according to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office says the Nissan and Suzuki were traveling in the westbound lane when the Nissan began a left turn into a driveway. As the Nissan was turning, Halabi attempted to pass the Nissan and struck the driver’s side.

According to the crash report, Halabi was wearing a helmet.
