LAS VEGAS, NV : 1 dead, 2 injured following crash on Silverado Ranch on Wednesday, 21st February 2024

A woman is dead, and two others are injured, after two racing vehicles crashed on Wednesday morning in the southern Las Vegas valley.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says impairment, as well as drag-racing, is believed to have been a factor in the crash.

Officers initially responded to a crash on East Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Bermuda Road around 1:41 a.m. Two vehicles involved in the crash were located, and two occupants were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One occupant was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
