Naples, FL : Estero man killed in crash in Lee County on Saturday night, August 13, 2016

A 23-year-old Estero man died Saturday night in a rural crash in Lee County, police said.

At about 10:20 p.m. Dylan Mosley was driving an off-road Suzuki motorcycle north on the southbound side of narrow, unpaved Carter Road, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

Mosley's motorcycle collided with a homemade swamp buggy that Colton Sheffield of Bonita Springs was driving south on Carter Road near Estero Pines Road, police said.

Mosley and his motorcycle ended up in a canal. Neither Sheffield, 20, nor any of his passengers were injured. Passengers were Hayden Williams, 21, of Naples, and Gary Sheffield, 42, Darnell Sheffield, 10, and Kevin Richardson, 24, all of Bonita Springs, the FHP reported.
