WINDSOR, CO : Teen hurt in collision on Colo. 257 on Thursday, 15th March 2018

The Windsor Police Department is investigating a head-on collision between two vehicles on Colo. 257 between Weld County Road 72 and Weld County Road 74 that happened early Thursday morning.

According to a press release,Windsor Police responded to a call at 5:39 a.m. Thursday about a two-car accident.

Preliminary investigation indicates a Chevy Cavalier driven by Dylan Crabtree, 19, was southbound on Colo. 257 and swerved into the northbound lane of traffic, striking a Jeep Cherokee being driven by a 23-year-old woman who was traveling northbound.

Crabtree was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies for treatment of multiple injuries. The driver of the Cherokee was evaluated for injuries at the scene, but not transported to the hospital, according to the release.

There were no other occupants in either vehicle.
