Marion, IL: Man injured in single car accident on IL Rt. 13 on Sunday, August 2nd 2015

An elderly man was brought to the hospital after overturning his vehicle on Illinois Route 13 Sunday.The crash happened near North Wolfcreek Road on IL 13 west bound just after 3 p.m., according to trooper Joey Watson with the Illinois State Police Department.Police cited Richard Franks, 62, of De Soto for improper lane usage.Nobody was traveling with Franks, and no other injuries were reported.The Carterville, Crainville, and Illinois State Police Departments responded along with the Carterville Fire Department.
