Monett, MO : Aurora man seriously injured in crash on Sunday, September 10, 2017

An Aurora man was injured Saturday in a wreck at 7:55 p.m. on Highway 248, one mile west of Jenkins.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mark Neill, 54, of Aurora, was deriving a 1992 Toyota eastbound when his vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a tree.

Neill suffered serious injuries and as transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

It is unknown if he was wearing a safety device, and the vehicle was totaled.
