Dallas, TX : Teen killed in Northwest Dallas crash on May 8th 2014

Police are investigating a fatal crash in Northwest Dallas.
It happened Thursday just before 9 a.m. at 3500 Royal Lane near Cromwell Drive.
Jason Evans with the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department says a car struck a tree in the area, and a female passenger was killed.
A witness told News 8 they saw the car driving west on Royal when the driver lost control, hit a tree and flipped over. No other cars were involved.
Major Max Geron with the Dallas Police Department says the crash involved a teen. It was previously thought to have involved a child. He says the passenger was not wearing a seatbelt.
