Molalla , OR :Fire official Car carrying 3 ends up in Ore.'s Molalla River after crash all rescued on Thursday , June 25th 2015
A Molalla, Oregon, fire department official says three people have been pulled from a car that collided with another vehicle, plunged down a 20-foot embankment and landed upside down in the Molalla River.Fire Lt. Denise Everhart said Thursday evening that rescuers had freed the car's occupants. Two were flown to Portland trauma hospitals while the third was transported by ground. They were initially considered in critical condition. Everhart did not have an update on their status.She says the river at that point is only about a foot deep.The male driver of the other car reportedly remained at the scene and was talking to officers.Molalla is about 30 miles south of Portland.
