Red Wing, MN : Two people injured in crash at Highway 61/County Road 18 on Friday afternoon, April 29, 2016

Two people were injured Friday afternoon when one vehicle was hit broadside by another Friday afternoon on U.S. Highway 61 several miles west of Red Wing.

The State Patrol said Susan K. Budensiek, 58 of Red Wing was driving an SUV south on Goodhue County Road 18 and was trying to turn south onto U.S. 61 when her can was hit by a pickup being driven north by Kin A. Losey, 38, of Red Wing.

Both drivers were taken to Mayo Clinic Health System - Red Wing. Two passengers in Losey's vehicle had no apparent injuries.

The crash was reported at 3:39 p.m.
