BALLARD COUNTY, KY : Commercial Vehicle Crash closes US Highway 60 in Ballard County on Friday, 30th August 2024

A car crash shut down US Highway 60 in Ballard County Friday morning.

The Ballard County Emergency Management Agency alerted drivers to the closure right after 3:00 a.m. This information cited a Commercial Vehicle Accident for the closure. A picture provided from the agency showed a vehicle flipped onto its side/top splayed across the road.

The Emergency Agency said the crash occurred in Wickliffe near the intersection of Borden Road and US 60.

The initial closure was estimated to last two hours, but officials say delays should be expected through the morning.
