TEXARKANA, AR : 1 dead, several injured in head-on collision east of Texarkana on Sunday, 8th August 2021

A two-vehicle head-on crash on U.S. Highway 82 east of Texarkana claimed the life of a Magnolia man Sunday afternoon.

State police say a pickup driven by Robert D. Gillard, 34, of Stamps ran off the road, re-entered the highway and struck an SUV driven by Katie Morris, 28.

A passenger in her vehicle, Kevin C. Morris, 39, dead at the scene. Katie Morris and Gillard, along with two passengers, one in both vehicles, were taken to Texarkana hospitals for treatment.
