KINGWOOD, WV : Woman charged with DUI after crash on Tuesday, December 13, 2016
Preston deputies charged a woman with second-offense DUI Dec. 12, after she ran her car into another vehicle and a utility pole.
According to the criminal complaint and a release, Cindy Lynne Disney, 53, of Points, was driving a green Ford Taurus on W.Va. 26, going toward Albright. A caller reported the car was “all over the road” and had hit a guardrail.
While en route, officers were told about the collisions, which occurred in front of the Albright Quick Stop. Disney failed field tests for sobriety and did not provide adequate samples for a preliminary breath alcohol test or secondary chemical breath test, the complaint says.
She was treated at Preston Memorial Hospital, and police are awaiting the results of blood and urine analysis. She was convicted of DUI on Dec. 8, 2011, according to the complaint.
