Mesa , AZ : One bicyclist killed and two others were injured after Struck by Vehicle and ran red light on Friday morning , December 19th 2014

Authorities in Mesa say a bicyclist has died after he and two others were struck by a vehicle that ran a red light.

(http://bit.ly/1sKiTmE) that a minivan heading south on Gilbert Road on Friday morning ran a red traffic light, hitting three people on bicycles at Pueblo Avenue.

Mesa police say one of the cyclists, a man in his 50s or 60s, succumbed to his injuries.

They say the other two victims were hospitalized.

Their condition was not immediately known.

According to police, the driver of the minivan did pull over and walked back to the scene.

Investigators say impairment does not appear to be a factor.
