Police are investigating a crash in Prince's Bay on Thursday that involved a motorcycle. At about 1:45 p.m., a 25-year-old male was knocked from his motorcycle and found unconscious in the street near the intersection of Hylan Boulevard and Holton Avenue, the spokesman said.
A gray sedan and an MTA bus were on scene when police arrived, though an investigation into which driver might have been at fault, and who had the right of way was ongoing as of 3:15 p.m., police said.
The motorcyclist was traveling south on Hylan Boulevard, the spokesman said.
He suffered non-life threatening injuries that included a possibly fractured leg, abrasion to his arm and possible head injury.
He regained consciousness once police arrived and was transported to Staten Island University in Ocean Breeze, authorities said.
